Wonder if this has anything to do with the FBI recently stating they gave themselves the authority to hack into other countries national infrastructure because they won't let a little thing about them having no authority to committ a web based attack against foreign nations stop them or because terrorism means they can do whatever they want whenever they want
we are all probably on a list somewhere in the corrupt bowels of the alphabet agencies for having the audacity to criticize our governmental overlords. Dissent is terrorism lest we forget.
"your just going to have to take us at our word we are not lying because we suppressed the evidence proving we are, because national security or some such nonsense"
seems like 99% of the whole bloody US government is corrupt at this point.
I would be more shocked at stories about people committing crimes being held accountable by their fellow government employees than just another story about blatant corruption.
Re: Re: Muslims did not do 9-11, dammit - oh yes they did!
didn't the government recently come out saying they did fake the moon landings in the 60's to provide a morale boost to the American people so that they believed they beat the Russians.
They eventually did land on the moon, just not when they first said they did
If we are supporting the "they may turn out to be a criminal so lets harass and shoot them now" option. Lets go for bold territory and label all of those alphabet government organizations possible terrorists and traitors on the grounds that since many of them have committed crimes and broken their oaths, all of them probably will. Why not throw the police in there as well, if many of them shoot without warning unarmed and unresisting people its only safe to play the percentages and assume all of them are criminal cops.
Most people I know see them more as the evil empire that used to pretend to be good, but lately just do not give a dam how they look to the public in their arrogance the public will not care unless it directly affects them
I don't think the people running the USA care about actually being good when they can be evil and just look good to millions of stupid people that want to trust their government is looking out for their best interests
So at worst these dirty cops face a stern talking to for their criminal actions.
While they should be held to the law they inflict on others and be arrested, jailed and sent to prison for several decades for the multiple crimes they have committed in this one instance.

what are the odds law enforcement will comply with this and not just "forget to follow this law" like do for so many others.
They either pick and choose what laws they follow while enforcing them on everyone else or they have no clue what the laws are. Since they are police officers that is a scary prospect
let's give them even more abilities to make foreign nations mad enough to break alliances, remove trade deals or worst case attack. they already pushing it with their "do what I say not what I do actions"
kind of funny how the strongest advocates for gun control generally have armed bodyguards or a gun license and carry a gun on themselves "to protect them from the dangerous people with guns out to get them"
the police are already violating the no troops in private homes.
Was a story where they forced a woman out of her home so they could spy on her neighbor. Simply because they believe they are above the law or they don't have a clue about the laws they are supposed to be enforcing.
