It isn't the post that makes the comparison it is you and your peers. See also Gene Simmons Et al.
The post is pointing out how ridiculous the comparison is.
It is promising that you see the difference between a kid stealing a piece of candy and armed bank robbery.
The fact that you acknowledge there could be "petty infringement" tells me that either there is hope for you to actually comprehend the nature of sharing or (unfortunately) more likely you see that backlash against IP is growing and are trying to establish a middle ground before you loose even what you now have.
I'll be an optimist and hope you are getting wiser.
Being a typical citizen of The United States of America I never actually bothered to read the First Amendment (TL;DR) so this was new information to me.
It brings me great comfort knowing that our overcrowded jails will be able to release some citizens to make room for these criminals who do not respect our judicial system.
The shill sees the world through his own distorted lens. Since he is paid to promote an agenda he naturally assumes that those who oppose him are likewise compensated, the concept of someone actually believing in something is foreign to him.
If you can't make it in the free market as a writer/artist/musician/etc..., then find another job. The argument that the world is a poorer place because you can't make more money is meaningless.
I used to wish for the edit button especially when I put a subject in and hit enter, I have come to realize though that no edit actually contributes to the conversations.
People are forgiving of mistakes and most of the time no one even says anything, but no edit prevents certain people from going back and changing their posts when they are caught up in their lies and propaganda.
So my advice is come to terms with no edit button and make the Preview button your friend.

WRONG
They are suing a dead guy is entirely the point.
This demonstrates they are willing to sue anyone and everyone regardless.
