Your question had nothing to do with the article, and it's still not a good question. Nintendo does sell games and consoles through other stores; at least physical sales. Downloads go through Nintendo because they don't need anyone else for purely data-only sales.
Your analogy sucks. Here's a better one: I love Ferrari's - I love them so much I made a model of one for my kid's Hot Wheels track and posted how to do it online for other people who love Ferrari's. But then Ferrari came along and took down my web page on how to make a crappy Hot Wheel Ferrari because it might interfere with their sales of Ferrari's.
The car owner is entering into a transaction by using a scarce public good - street space - in exchange for a bit of chalk on their tires. There's no criminality implied or expected!
It's vandalism, pure and simple. Sure, it's just "a bit of chalk on the tire", but it's basically the same as scratching marks in the fender above a tire.
Amazon isn't a country, it's a river and a rain-forest. So it's not remotely the same thing. Now if they called their company "Brazil", then you'd have a point. ;)
It goes even further than that. Not only is the language an issue, but the content as well. Is this medical video okay, or is it endorsing snake oil? Is this engineering video okay, or is it con artists trying to sell a perpetual motion machine? Is this biography okay, or it is libelous/slanderous/defamation?
It goes on and on and on... you'll need at least as many experts on EVERY subject to sort and vet each video.
Everyone knows there's five execs for every actual worker. ;)
And don't forget those middle managers are paid far more than the working slobs. The price including management will be AT LEAST ten times the estimate for the lowest level workers.
It's reconciled by allowing the bombing to go for days before dealing with it... but I don't think that's really fair to Steam. Dealing with deliberate attempts to sabotage game scores to show displeasure at the distributor/developer of the games isn't really all that easy. They admitted that automated systems weren't doing the job and had to get real people involved, and that takes time. Complaining about two days to handle thousands of review bombs is like governments wanting social media to handle "bad" posts in a hour - highly unrealistic in real life.
I would agree, but that wouldn't occur to some folk. They might try just "silk road", then move on to "silk road usa", then maybe "silk road not white" and other strings we would consider silly when looking for this info, better truly never occurs to them. And don't forget when people see search terms highlighted in the article (if/when they find it), they think the emphasis is in the article. Many folks simply don't grok google. :)
Like many politicians, many normal people also have no idea how to effectively use search engines. I commonly get asked by friends to find info that is found in twenty seconds via google when I know they just spent twenty minutes trying to find the same info. Knowing how to compose a proper search term string is one of the main issues people have, and being able to quickly parse the results from pages that don't relate to what you're looking for.
You would think that security would be higher on a military base in a foreign country, not lower. This level of security is what I'd expect in a recruiting center in mainland USA.

Ebay is a great place to get a C64. You can also often find them at charity places like Goodwill and St. Vincent DePaul.

They would have to do cavity searches at the same time. Just getting naked isn't nearly enough.
