Online tax credits

from the I'm-not-sure-about-this-one dept

There is a proposal floating around for tax credits for people who file online. I'm not sure about this one. One part of me thinks it's the right thing to do, since filing online cuts down on the amount it costs the government. Another part says, people shouldn't be penalized for not being comfortable using the Net to file taxes.

    Gates and Chief Software Architect

He has been performing in this "position" for quite sometime.

Ballmer has been CEO without the title for quite sometime.

This is just formalizing what has been for quite a while.

    It's just making it free.

The thing I like about the $10 tax credit is that what it's doing, in essence, is making filing electronically free -- like doing it the old fashioned way is. Having a company make $10 on me filing my tax returns (especially after spending $35 on the software) seemed like a scam.
