Looking to the Bees to Solve Internet Problems

Some researchers are working on ways to improve some internet performance issues by looking to ants and bees. As you know, while individual ants or bees may not be particularly smart or productive, as a large group they are frighteningly efficient in accomplishing complex tasks. Some researchers are working on ways to make the internet follow a similar model. If it works it sounds like it could be cool. The trick, of course, is making it work.
