Napster for friends

A new software program blends the functionality of Napster and AOL Instant Messenger. The premise is that you can share music among those that are on your AOL Instant Messenger buddy list. This is an interesting idea. My only comment would be that if I want my friends to have access to stuff on my computer, there are a slew of ways to permit that, short of installing yet another application.

yeah but...
I think that it's always a pain to set anything up, instant gratification is much better. If I want a quick file off of a friend of mine I'd much rather have easy constant access through something like an instant messenger than have to worry about installing another program.

Napster for friends in an Instant Messenger called
Retroshare IS an Instant Messenger, so all your firends are online already. It is very easy to swap your files with your friends now. -> retroshare.sf.net

Just bring some friends in and you can test.
