Webcasting Goes Live and In Person

An interesting article about webcasting live music. The article talks a lot about Riffage.com. The company was originally designed to be a place where smaller name artists could promote their music. However, when that wasn't working out, Riffage went out and bought the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco in order to start web casting events (and to make a little actual money on real live paying guests). Thus, webcasters are hoping that more traditional revenue streams will keep them in business until there's some way to make money from webcasting.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
