Virgin Consumers

The same highly successful business man that brought you Virgin airways will soon be launching a consumer shopping website that will supposedly fight the forces that lead to a �rip-off Britain�. I hope his new service succeeds but the tides of over taxation and overpriced goods will be very difficult to beat here in England.

Over taxation? Bollocks! Yes some goods are overpriced in the UK, but we are certainly not over taxed.

  Really? 17.5% VAT (for others that's basically sales tax) seems like a rip-off to me compare it to florida which has a sales tax of 7%! Not to mention how much gets directly deducted from our salaries!
