Some areas simply outlaw cell phone use while driving. Think that's too draconian? Maybe you're right. In any case, it looks like Ford will do a study to quantify just how distracting gadgets are while driving. Personally, I think the effects are highly driver-dependent. Some people shouldn't chew gum and drive. And some people just shouldn't drive....
