An e-End to Books As We Know Them?

Tom writes "Is e-paper the logical replacement to books? MIT's Technology Review thinks it may be." There have been plenty of articles on the concept of e-paper, but this one is a bit more in-depth than most. I haven't seen any e-paper prototypes, but it would have to be very high quality to make it worthwhile to switch to that over regular books.
