Attacks Have Increased Demands For Satellite Phones

Iridium (the new one) is suddenly getting lots of phone calls from people interested in using their satellite phones. Apparently the phones are being put to use in NY and Washington (and I'd assume other places around the world as well...). Now, if only we could convince people that the ricochet network would have been useful...

    It is ironic that the WTC event is increasing the popularity of Iridium sat phones since it looks like the 'bin Laden boys' own part of it.
    An AltaVista search for laden ~ iridium
    turns up 17 results:
