No Downturn, We're Just Shifting Gears

The Economist is making a somewhat optimistic, though interesting, prediction that what we've been experiencing is not a real downturn, but rather a noisy changing of gears as we get ready for the second, slower, upswing in the latest technology boom. What they can't predict is what the next wave of technological innovation will be about.
