A new robotic doctor is being tested for NASA. The robot is being used to check eyesight and do early detections for potentially dangerous eye diseases. Such things could be very useful on extended space trips. Of course, wait until the HMOs get ahold of robotic doctors. I'm sure they'll start salivating as they plan to phase out human doctors who just aren't as efficient.
