Forget To-Do Lists, Get A Memory Aid

from the oh,-the-possibilities dept

The NY Times (so only the registration accepting crowd among you can get in) has an interesting article about new "memory aid" gadgets that may start becoming a part of our everyday life. These are sort of like to-do lists with microprocessors (and occasionally location-based systems). These systems try to take into account more context than just the task that needs to be done. So, for instance, if you walk by a refrigerator, the system may remind you to defrost something you wanted to cook for dinner that night. These sorts of things could be useful, or they could get really annoying really fast.
