The fast food industry can be ruthless with lot of pressure for creative promotions (let's face it, you can only be so creative with the actual food). Burger King has teamed up with eBay to create a loyalty program that awards you points for each BK purchase. You can then use these points to bid for prizes on a co-branded eBay/Burger King site. It's an interesting idea that I can see airlines using at some point. There are so many ways to accumulate miles, they need creative ways to make you use them.
