Venture Capitalists Still Raising Money

Thought the days of huge venture capital funds were over? You'd be wrong. Sure, VCs raised less money this year, but they still raised $55 billion, including 15 funds that were over $1 billion each. Considering the fact that $70 billion was raised last year, and not much of it was put to use, that's plenty of money for startups to make use of over the next few years. Of course, many of the funds say they're focusing on such things as "life sciences" or biotech, so it might help to look in those places.
