A column at Business 2.0 suggesting what many of us have been saying for years: the music industry should embrace MP3s. Instead of treating everyone as if they were criminals, they should provide consumers with what they want: affordable music in a format that everyone likes. Of course, the chances of the music industry taking a step like this is close to zero. They simply don't realize how short sighted they're being in pissing off the majority of their customers.
