Cingular Changes Paying Off
Cingular posted relatively strong subscriber growth in the second quarter with 353,000 net new subscribers. While this is about half of the subscribers they signed up during the same period a year ago, it's much better than their first quarter new subscriber number of 234,000. More aggressive pricing and new customer rentention programs seem to be paying off.
