AT&T Broadband is going to start educating their customers about securing their Wi-Fi equipment. The effort was sparked by a recent case in which a movie pirate used an AT&T customer's open Wi-Fi network to upload movies to the net. Regardless of where you stand on pirating and open access points, AT&T's approach of educating users on security options is much better than Time Warner's recent letters threatening legal action for sharing bandwidth.
