Sprint PCS to Charge for Checking Minutes
SprintPCS is now going to start charging people who check how many minutes they've used by dialing *4 on their phones. The service used to be free, but now they're going to charge. It's this sort of nickle-and-diming that really begins to annoy customers. I also wonder if this means customers will hear changing messages as they wait: "You have used 102, wait, 103 minutes of your plan...".
