Should The Internet Be Exempt From Campaign Finance Law?

There's a debate going on concerning an exemption for online political ads in the new campaign finance reform law. Both sides actually have some good points. Making an internet loophole, of course, means that political campaigns can do all sorts of shady things online. However, those for the loophole point out that the internet causes an interesting problem. What if someone completely unrelated to the campaign takes a political ad (or makes their own) and posts it to their site, without the required attached information? Are you then limiting that person's free speech?
