Wireless Phone Use Up 7.6 Percent
According to the latest J.D. Power and Associates, there is both good news and bad news for carriers. The good news is that wireless phone use is up and penetration is nearing 60% in the top markets. The bad news is that growth is slowing, indicating that the market it close to saturation. However there could be a silver lining in increased usage and slowing growth. The industry should use this data to justify lower marketing costs and subscriber growth to Wall Street and invest in increasing ARPU.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
