What will 3G really be like? If you are curious check out 3's web site for a flash demo of their upcoming services. The services look great but the site is a bit light on practical details such as realistic data speeds and coverage. What the demos do well is position 3's service as lifestyle tools. But are consumers really going to plunk down $600-plus for video conferencing handsets sold at drug stores? It seems more likely that their early customers will be business users not consumers.
