T-Mobile And Lucent To Launch 3G UMTS Pilot For Secure Services
While there are still plenty of questions concerning how quickly UMTS rollouts will happen, T-Mobile and Lucent are getting ready to start a pilot UMTS program in the Nuremberg region. Part of the reason for the pilot is to show companies there how useful a secure high speed 3G system can be. Whether or not it actually generates any demand remains to be seen.Filed Under: 3g
