Lauren Weinstein's latest opinion piece over at Wired News is basically a warning to the television industry not to fight against the usefulness of personal video recorders, like TiVo. Otherwise, they may find themselves confronted with a "consumer revolution". While he doesn't say it specifically, he's basically telling thet television industry that, so far, they're simply following the same mistakes that the music industry has made. The longer they go down that trail, the less likely they are to survive as an "industry".Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
