Where Do You Want To Work?
One of the great things about wireless technology is the level of freedom it provides. Of course many people believe that wireless technologies reduce your freedom by chaining you to work no matter what time it is or where you are. Given this debate Intel's tagline for their Centrino teaser campaign and the campaign itself is sure to raise some eyebrows. The ads show people sitting at desks with laptops on a forklift, an airport moving sidewalk, a driving range, and on a diving platform. The tagline is "On March 12th Intel will not only change how you work...but where you work." But do you want to work somewhere else? I understand that this is targeted at enterprise customers who place a high value on mobile productivity. But by focusing on the term work they missed the opportunity to speak to a wider audience.
