Wardrivers Drive At Rush Hour
A new study from KPMG suggests that most war driving and wireless hacking attempts seem to happen during rush hour (both morning and evening). They don't offer any explanation for this, and I can't come up with any good ones either. My first thought was that it might just mean that people drive with their laptops on in the car, and as they drive by an office with a WiFi network, the laptop picks it up. Other than that, it doesn't seem to make much sense. One other possibility is that war drivers do their war driving on the way to and from their own jobs.
