UK's Sendo Sues Orange Over Handset Design

Back when Sendo first sued Microsoft, they claimed that Microsoft had stolen some of their smartphone intellectual property and given it to other OEMs. Considering that this all came at the same time that Orange was launching their Microsoft-powered smartphone, it's not too hard to figure out who Sendo thought Microsoft had been sharing with. Today, Sendo filed a a lawsuit against Orange for using their intellectual property. Of course, this is a little tricky, since Orange is just a carrier - not a phone manufacturer. The phones they're selling are made by HTC in Taiwan. Sendo sued Orange, though, because they have UK offices, and they wanted to keep the lawsuit in the UK. This sounds like a bit of a stretch, though, it might cause some other carriers to think twice about dealing with HTC until after the lawsuit is settled.
