Ericsson Scores Major T-Mobile Contract
Ericsson, the telecom infrastructure company (fully separated from SonyEricsson, the handset company), has just signed a major deal for US$500M of network equipment kit with T-Mobile USA. The deal involves myriad infrastructure components such as EDGE equipment, network expansion, and Adaptive MultiRate Technology. The deal is significant enough to have an noticeable impact on Ericsson stock price, and their quarterly results.
