Staying Online After SARS

There were plenty of stories at the height of the whole SARS mess about how folks in Hong Kong were suddenly spending a lot more time online, since no one wanted to go out. It appears that they like what they found. Now that the threat of SARS has gone down, internet traffic in Hong Kong is still way up from what it was before SARS hit. It seems that once people were sort of "forced" to use the internet, they learned what was useful about it, and now see no reason to stop.
