Dutch Workers Can't Be Sacked For Porn - Without A Policy In Place

While there have been plenty of stories of workers fired for having pornography on their office computers - or for sending it around via email - a Dutch court has now said that employees can't be fired for such actions without a written policy. This makes sense. If a company is going to fire people for such actions, then it's only fair for them to let employees know ahead of time what is and is not acceptable. The article also mentions that some new European regulations will prohibit continuous monitoring of employee computer use without a good reason.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
