European Carriers Confused Over Whether To Push Forward With W-CDMA
Over in Europe, it appears that the carriers are still running through the debate as to whether or not they should push forward on W-CDMA, or focus on an EDGE solution for the time being. Many had originally intended to leap right over EDGE, but initial problems with W-CDMA is forcing them to reconsider. Meanwhile, in somewhat related news, it appears that the effort to rebrand W-CDMA as 3GSM has gone absolutely nowhere.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
