Hollywood Agents Playing Video Games

For years, people have predicted that video games were the "next movies" as they started to grow as the entertainment choice of a new generation. Now, it seems the folks in Hollywood - specifically the agents - have discovered that there's money in games (in fact, more money than in movies). Hollywood agents are pushing over each other to get in good with game makers - and are doing their best to tie in games with movies, and movies with games. The article suggests some of this collaboration between the two industries is because many of the decision makers in Hollywood grew up playing video games and hold them in higher regard than those who never played video games.
