The Textable Tent
This seems like it may have somewhat limited usefulness, but Orange UK has created a tent you can text. The purpose is to be used for a festival where many people bring tents, and it's often difficult to find your own. So, instead of wandering aimlessly, people will be able to send an SMS message to their tent, and it will light up in response. Pretty gimmicky, but not the most ridiculous idea in the world. Think of how many people wander around large parking lots searching for their cars...
