Cybersquatting The Competition

Cybersquatting is a big issue that gets a lot of coverage, but it's still not clear what's really allowed and what isn't. WebEx has apparently decided that they automatically get the right to any domain with their name in it -- especially when a competitor buys the domains. They've now filed a lawsuit against Citrix for registering a bunch of domains with the Webex name and variations on a new offering they launched. The lawsuit claims both cybersquatting and trademark infringement. The trademark infringement claim might be a tough sell, since it's not clear Citrix ever did anything with those domains, and even if they did, it's unlikely anyone visiting those pages would have thought they were at WebEx's site. The real question, is why didn't WebEx register most of these domains itself?
