While these carriers continue to disable networking in the Bluetooth of their phones, Nextel, the leader in addressing the enterprise market, is launching the Motorola i605 ruggedized Bluetooth phone, promoting the phone's Bluetooth ability to do away with a data cable to connect the phone to a laptop for mobile data access. What's this? A carrier that is trying to help customers access mobile data through their handset? What's the next crazy idea? Reasonable pricing and flexible tiered data plans?
