There have been plenty of stories about how colleges let star athletes slide by when it comes to academics, but it turns out some schools are now using online classes to help make the process of academic fraud easier. It turns out that some coaches realized that if their star players signed up for online classes at another university they could give the students the answers without anyone being any wiser. Of course, having bad students who are good athletes suddenly do much better while all taking online classes from the same university set off an alarm in someone's head -- and the coaches involved are now in a bit of trouble.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
