   This kid at my high school got suspended and most likely expelled for making a myspace for a school administrator.

   Our School too...

   People at my college mostly use Facebook. I go to a school where you aren'y supposed to use extreme foul language, and someone got written-up for saying p****.
   Also, we're not alowed to drink, no matter what our age, and numerous people have gotten caught through Facebook for that as well.

   i go to a private highschool school, and if a teacher creates an acount, we just send in a report and the teachers acount gets deleted. we already had 2 kids put on final probation because of it and various detentions and suspensions related to alchohol.

   The kids were stupid enough to give their life story on something like Myspace/Facebook/XuQa/etc... Maybe someone could clue them in next time that people other than their friends can see what they post.

   I know, I can't stand myspace just becuase I think its dumb, but can't you make it so only your friends can see your profile? Or would that limit all the hot girls you will never meet from becoming your friend?

   I hate to flame myspace...wait, no i dont. iv actually been called "computer stupid" and a noob because i DONT have a myspace account. first of all, myspace is anything but private. if someone is stupid enough to use it in the first place it is not hard to believe that they would be stupid enough to brag to all their digital "friends" (who are just as likely to be cops) of all the stupid illegal crap they do so that everyone can see just how cool they really are. if you really have nothing better to do than AIM your friends to tell them how bored you are, fine. But MYSPACE?!? if you really want to have your number of "friends" be your defining characteristic, gripe about your life to anyone sad enough to actually read your blog and show the world your impressive lack of discretion, dignity, maturity, productive activities and REAL social life i thought thats what high school is for.

    ya, as a graff artist, thats some BS. ya, i wouldnt do it, but its not that dumb, its a good way to network with other artists. its not like there is a yellowpages section to find other writers. f the media.

    Since day 1, I have absolutely disliked Myspace. Why? It's extremely pointless. I do use Facebook, but for the simple fact that you can connect to people enrolled in the same courses as you (hence, if you miss class and haven't had the chance to meet ppl in the class, you can sort who is in the class and find out what you missed). I have no idea why ppl are so possessed to view what has been on ppls minds all day long, have your eyes damaged by the static background and the dynamic html scrolling over it, glittery symbols that announce you are a "sexy girl"(and you wonder why parents don't trust their teen daughters), etc... While "Tom" has some web design skills, I think he should apply it to something else. Read this article, it'll make your day:

    I don't understand what people can use those websites for. Facebook is like Myspace, but more private and a button that asks you what school and courses you attend. Yes it can be useful for keeping in touch, but don't people talk to each other in person anymore? It seems like everyone is shy to talk in person, I MISS THOSE DAYS. Too many people glued to the computer, truly sad...
