OpenSecrets.org, the website of Center for Responsive Politics has just put over 200 million documents online -- basically the groups' entire archives. Specifically, the data includes info about fundraising, lobbying, personal finance of politicians and information about "advocacy groups" known as 527 organizations. It looks like a treasure trove of information that plenty of politicians and lobbyists probably wish remained hidden behind closed doors.

...to get investigators going through this info with a fine toothed comb and filing charges, lawsuits or deportation/exile paperwork if necessary?

Combined with things like Wikileaks, it makes me feel that the internet may actually be the gateway to all truth all the time, like so many hoped it would.

RIAA
Given the recent appointment of former RIAA attorneys to positions in the DOJ I would expect to find that the RIAA had somehow donated significantly to his campaign fund, although I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

I'm very dissapointed about these decisions and very worried about the situation.
