Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

    Thank you for the disclaimer

I want to Tech Dirt to succeed, it's one of my favorite websites, so I'm happy to see them earn advertising revenue in ethical ways. And that's why I'm happy you use the disclaimer. It's a small thing but it's an important one and you're doing it.

    Tried this thing

I got one of these. Seemed liked it was a good idea. Turned out not so much. Back to key ring and easier key access :)

    How useful is this, really?

Only seems suited for the average house key, if you got 10 different house keys your either rich (and pay someone to manage your keys), a landlord (have a master key) or have too many "partners" in which case you would keep each on on a seperate keychain to hide the fact you have 10.....

This is TECHdirt, sell me something that can organize my stupidly odd shaped server cage keys and access fobs!

Does it work as a bottle opener?

    Duh!

    Anonymous Coward,
Go buy whatever the hell you're harping about or just shut up. I own one of these, have an office, thus a job, and have no trouble using it. Maybe you should quit opening bottles, get a job, and maybe you will have more than one key. Quit whining, you make our ears hurt.
