Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

Still needing to provide hot water certainly limits this thing's usefulness I imagine.

The problem with most coffee making things is how messy they are.

You rarely see a picture of them that doesn't have a giant mess of spilled coffee beans all around them.

They're just too messy to use - especially when traveling...

    "Ships to: Continental US"

I get that the majority of your readers are within the continenal US, but could you please make an effort to partner with people who ship globally? This seems to happen every time I see physical goods on here that I'd actually consider paying money for. (Which is admittedly not often.)

We actually do try -- but it's not always possible.

    Worthless injunction

The domain is an "IO" extension and the database is likely not in the US. There is a serious question as to the application of the injunction outside of the US. SHE COULD EASILY AVOID US infringement by blocking US IP address access.

All the plaintiff has done is ensure publicity for the site.

I am not familiar with the terms applied to subscribers whose credentials she is apparently using. Can you address those?
