Gaming Like It's 1923: Winners Coming Soon!

Judging is almost complete! If you entered our public domain game jam Gaming Like It's 1923, or if you've been following along, get ready for the upcoming announcement of the winners in our six categories:
- Best Analog Games
- Best Digital Game
- Best adaptation of a 1923 work
- Best remixing of multiple sources
- Best “Deep Cut” (use of a work not listed on any of the round up articles)
- Best Visuals
If you haven't had a chance to try out any of the games, go check out the submission page where you'll find all 35 entries, with a mix of analog and digital games in a wide variety of genres and styles, all based on works that entered the public domain in 1923.
Our panel of judges has finished trying out the entries, and now we're tallying up their scores and going through their reviews to determine the final winners, who'll be receiving prizes including Techdirt swag and copies our our game, CIA: Collect It All. We'll be announcing the results in the next week or two, so stay tuned for an announcement!

Games.
Would really like a new Monopoly.. The original was designed to show the Problems with a monopoly, but was taken over, Adjusted, and Made a game for children..

...and even without the anti-monopoly ruleset, still demonstrates the problem with monopolies pretty well. Wikipedia has a good picture of the original board and a (broken?) link to the 1906 rules (and to the patent, which lists the rules).

I'm curious what point you think you're making here? It feels like an attempt at making a snide remark, which suggests little understanding of the way that (1) culture works or (2) game jams work. And I figure, no one could possibly be that clueless, so I'm going to assume that you don't actually intend to make a truly snide remark and I may have misunderstood what you're actually saying.
So, perhaps you could explain more clearly?

Everything competes with protected (and unprotected) works from the entirety of human history, except for the ones that copyright prevents from being released legally.
So? Are you saying that works based on public domain material are somehow worth less than others (in which case, good luck explaining that to Disney), or do you just feel the need to belitte those who are showing you how much creativity is being blocked by overreaching copyrighT?

to explain the different forms of Government.. Had a person declare what was happening in Venezuela was Socialism, and I had to suggest to him it was closer to capitalism..It WAS socialism..until this person took over.

What an incredible number of nominations in the games section. In this plan games have never been a winner. But, I am a frequent winner in online casino games. To be always ready for the game, I use a site Casinotop that contains information about the best online casinos with real money games 2020. There is also a lot of other useful information on this site. Games for me as an incentive for a certain development in life. As an opportunity to earn extra income and to a certain extent fame.
