Coupons Sent to Your Wireless Device

from the silly-ideas dept

Wired has a story about sending coupons to your wireless device. That seems pretty damn intrusive to me, and I really am not sure how many folks would really want to sign up for such a thing. Maybe there are some, but I know this type of service would annoy me to no end.

    Wireless couponing?

You want me to use my wireless service to receive junk mail? I don't see the benefit. Now if you give me a RIM Interactive Pager with Go.America service for a low ad-subsidized price, you could be onto something.
