HDTV Gets Fuzzy

from the ok-so-Todd-read-his-WSJ-today dept

Last one, I promise. WSJ today has an article on HDTV that further indicates that the manufacturers are going to screw this up. They are all playing with what HDTV means (as if they'd ever reached consensus), such that there continues to exist the possibility of p-o'd consumers. Blurb: almost 60% of high-income potential buyers associate HDTV with "TV you can hang on a wall" and didn't understand that there are different levels of picture quality in the "digital" TV realm. Hey, even I will need a scorecard to track this one.
