The Hollywoodization of Venture Capital

This little meme has been floating around Silicon Valley for too long now: Silicon Valley is just like Hollywood, but with startups instead of movies, VC's instead of producers, business plans instead of scripts. It's definitely getting overused these days, and while it may have some validity, I think it's partly an attempt to make Silicon Valley seem a little less geeky.
