Cashing in on Spanish sites

The past few weeks I've been noticing a flurry of interest in latin american and spanish web sites. Recently, there have been several successful IPO's of these types of sites, such as Starmedia Networks. VC's seem to have noticed this increase in interest and now seem to be much more open to the idea of funding latin american flavored web sites. The real question is whether the current web savvy latin market segment in the US and those in latin america can support them all yet ?
