Incubators and More Incubators

Incubators have been becoming more and more popular these days. Forbes is now running an article about some of the new ones popping up. I definitely like the incubator concept, and there are some good ones out there, but I'm afraid as more of them show up many will have a negative connotation (as in that's where you go if you can't startup otherwise). I've heard a number of VCs talk down about companies that go through incubators.
