A very interesting article in the NYTimes magazine about Jupiter and Forrester, the two main internet analyst groups. It talks about how they make their predictions, how they work with the press, and some enlightening quotes on their track records. I guess, when everything's going well, no one really cares how good you are at predicting the future.
