I used to post a ton of articles about Network Solutions messing up, and was happy when other domain registrars were let into the game. Now, however, is a story of Register.com messing up. Apparently, in October they let someone register ebusiness.com even though it had already been taken. Then, it seems, they did a very poor job of notifying the person that they messed up, and he went on building a business plan out of ebusiness.com only to find out that someone in Texas who had the rights to the domain was trying to sell it.
