Most Idiotic Business Plans of 1999

from the only-scratching-the-surface dept

Forbes has an article about the most idiotic business plans of the year. Of course, a number of them are dot coms. I think they missed out on a lot of good ones. If anyone feels like nominating other companies for the title, enter it below. Maybe I'll make a poll question out of it.

two more alarmingly strange business plans

DogDoo.com -- Like the revenge plan in the Forbes article, only this one will send a pile of dog waste. Ick.

Filthy-rich.com -- Custom-labeled chocolate bars including one just in time for New Year's: "Y2K Compliant Chocolate." Oy.

Two good ones. Two more to consider are: The Alibi Agency at http://alibi.co.uk/ and the Infidelity Network at http://www.infidelity.com/ . Perhaps these two should join forces (though they do seem to take different sides on the major issues). Odd thing to note: in trying to recall the address for the Infidelity Network (someone told me about them a long time ago) I first tried adultery.com which leads to... Amazon.com?? Odd...
